There is so much to see and do in Kuala Lumpur. I am not a big city person, so to minimize the confusion and craziness of the city I created a check list of the places I wanted to see during my time in KL. Each morning I woke up and chose the sights I wanted to see, the shops to explore, and the local food to try.
My second day in the city I decided to head off to find the Petronus Towers and stop into multiple hawker stalls dotted around KL. I especially enjoyed browsing the stalls at Lot 10 - an underground hawker complex located under a large shopping center... there were so many options it was hard to choose just one dish for lunch!
I spent the whole day exploring the city on foot - many people do choose to take taxis, the metro, or the hop on hop off bus - but for me the best way to experience the true character of a big city is to wander aimlessly, taking unexpected twists and turns.
